“We are an Austrian, family owned, winery located south east of Vienna in Burgenland.
Our 50ha of vineyards lie in the Leithaberg Hills on the shores of Lake Neusiedl. This unique location enables us to produce a wide range of wines; 55% white wine, 40% red and 5% dessert wine.
Hoepler wines have a clear signature.  They tend to be delicate, elegant and high in minerality.  They are excellent to drink on their own but versatile when it comes to food and wine pairing.
We export 70% of our production.  Hoepler wines are in 38 States in the USA, UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Germany, Malta, Estonia and Scandinavia.
We are famous for making the house wines for the Trapp Family Lodge of Sound of Music fame and are fortunate to count the Vienna State Opera Ball, Jamie Oliver, Thomas Keller (French Laundry, Yountville), Boby Flay (Mesa Grill, New York), Petri Lukkarinen (Olo, Helsinki), Gordon Ramsay and Marco Pierre White amongst some of our more prestigious customers.

"Gruner Veltliner is marked by its mineral character, a light green tinge, yellow apple scents and citrus flavours. The nose exudes aromas of peach, roses, apricot and lime while the palate is predominantly citrus with a white pepper finish. GV is enjoying massive popularity particularly in the USA where it is seen as a characterful alternative to Sauvignon Blanc."
